Caxton College is home to around 400 professionals, who work together in a warm, companionable environment.
80% of our teaching staff are British and their subjects are taught in English. In addition, 20% of teachers are from Spain and teach the Spanish curriculum subjects. Caxton College also employs an extensive team of professionals, specialists in their respective fields, who are responsible for our extra-curricular activities.
Our non-teaching staff includes both British and Spanish professionals, as well as those of other nationalities, who help to distinguish our school for its cultural diversity.
Caxton College recognises its moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which children and adults feel safe, secure, valued and respected, and confident to talk if they are worried, believing they will be listened to effectively. All members of staff have equal responsibility to act on any suspicion or disclosure that may suggest a pupil is at risk of harm according to school protocols.
“Throughout the school, pupils’ excellent social development is in no small part due to the effective role modelling of staff whose behaviour is kind, considered, highly supportive and professional.” Extract from the report written by the academic inspectors who awarded Caxton College with the prestigious BSO certificate, obtaining the highest rating of “Excellent”.
