Making an initial application for a place

If you are interested in requesting a place in Reception (age 4) or Primary (age 5 to 10), we encourage you to contact us at least one full year before their proposed date of entry.

Step 1:

Contact us:

– Complete and send our online application form.

– Call us on + 34 96 142 41 72.

Step 2:

After receiving your online application, the Admissions Department will contact you to inform you about the availability of places.

Depending on availability, a visit will be organised online or in person.

Step 3:

After your visit, the Admissions Department will send you the instructions in order to complete the online pre-enrolment form.

Where applicable, end of year school reports from the last two academic years must be sent.

Step 4:

  1. For admissions into Reception to Year 3, if a place is available in the corresponding year group, we will invite you to a meeting with the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  2. For admissions into Year 4 to Year 6, if a place is available in the corresponding year group, we will give the student an appointment to come to sit entrance tests.
    • If, due to distance, your child cannot come to school to sit the tests, they can be organised at your child’s current school.
    • An informal online or in-person meeting will be organised for the pupil with the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.

Step 5:

If the student has obtained good results in the entrance tests, we will request references from their current school.

Step 6:

Places are offered depending on the results in entrance tests, grades in school reports from the previous two academic years and the references received.

Step 7:

If a place is offered and accepted, parents may confirm it by completing the online enrolment form, which the Admissions Department will provide.

Once the enrolment has been received, you will be charged the corresponding enrolment fee.

Before joining the school

After the enrolment has been confirmed, families will receive their access codes for the Parent Area, one of the main tools of communication with the school.

In September we invite families of new students in Reception and Primary to an Open Morning where you and your child will have the opportunity to meet the Primary Leadership Team, receive some advice on settling into the school, meet the class teachers and see the classroom and the school grounds. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the year ahead.

The application does not legally bind you to taking a place at Caxton College.

Applications do not confirm places as these are subject to availability.

Places are offered on a first come first served basis. Where places are not available children will be added to the waiting list.

If your child is on the waiting list and a place becomes available, we will contact you to start the admissions process.
