Celebrating Global Success: Our Students’ University Journey

By Jeanette Nugent, Head of International University Applications at Caxton College, Valencia

The International University Applications Team is delighted to share some wonderful news regarding our students' applications for further education. Our 26th cohort has demonstrated remarkable ambition and maturity, applying to institutions across the globe. We are particularly proud of their approach, because beyond simply chasing "prestigious" names, they have looked for their "best fit." This involves a complex set of criteria where students consider their long-term goals and identify which institutions will truly allow them to reach their full potential, academically and personally.

Global Destinations

The diversity of offers received so far is a testament to students’ global mindset. They have received offers from a variety of institutions including:

  • UK: Cambridge, Imperial College London, LSE, UCL, King’s College London, Durham, St Andrews, Bath, Bristol, Edinburgh, and many more.
  • USA & Europe: Brown University, Bocconi, Universiteit van Amsterdam, and the University of Groningen.

This is just a taste of the successes so far; we expect many more offers to arrive later this term.

A Journey of Hard Work

These achievements are not overnight successes. They are the result of a long journey that began in Primary, building the vital skills and emotional resilience required to excel. Applying to multiple countries—some students to three or more—requires incredible flexibility and an understanding of diverse international systems.

This is a team effort. Whilst the student is always at the centre, these outcomes reflect the dedication of their teachers, including those of us in the International University Team, in addition to support staff, and, of course, the unwavering support of parents. Congratulations to all our students on their well-deserved success!
