Students Classified for the International Session of the European Youth Parliament

Young People with an Innovative Political Discourse

A delegation of our Sixth Form students has classified for the next round in the latest national session of the European Youth Parliament (EYP), an initiative that mirrors the format of meetings and debates experienced daily by political representatives in the European Parliament assemblies in Brussels.

The achievement by these students, Charlotte B, Alex B, and Raphy C, has led to them having been selected to participate in the international EYP session, the final round of this European programme, which will take place in various European cities such as Turku in Finland, The Hague in the Netherlands, and Málaga in Spain.

We are extremely pleased that this group of students has reached this significant milestone, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the English language, a remarkable understanding of European issues and a high level of public speaking and debate skills.

In this final round, where there are no winners, the award consists of becoming part of the organisation for future EYP events and participating in a comprehensive experience where cultural, social and educational elements are combined.

This initiative is part of the school's curricular enrichment activities, which allow our students to explore different cultures and realities, as well as learn to listen to and respect the opinions of young people from different backgrounds and nationalities. Furthermore, it enables them to express their political concerns, showcase their theoretical knowledge, and develop their public speaking skills, which will all greatly benefit them in their professional lives.
